Two men chaged with multiple felonies while fishing

On May 10, 2011, Craig Hallmark, age 31, of Peel, and Clovis Jones, age 31, of Flippin, were arrested on numerous felony and misdemeanor charges.

Jones was charged with: felon in possession of a firearm; possession of a defaced firearm; possession of methamphetamine; possession of marijuana; possession of prescription drugs in an unlawful container; possession of a schedule 3 narcotic (hydrocodone); possession of a schedule 4 narcotic (darvocet); possession of drug paraphernalia; expired fishing license, and blocking a lake access - bond $25,000.00. Hallmark was arrested and charged with: possession of methamphetamine; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; and expired fishing license - bond $10,000.00.

The arrests stem from the two leaving and abandoning their truck partially backed into the lake, blocking the access area. Both are currently awaiting their first appearance before the Marion County Circuit Court. Assisting in the investigation was the Arkansas Game and Fish.
